Q: Why select TheFunkyBooth.ca? A: Our booth is unique to many other booths in our area. We own the distribution rights for our booths which has a one of a kind software that operates the machine so our guests can also shoot video, upload the photos to Facebook, Twitter, email, and Bluetooth(available upon request). Also, we have 3D/green screen options for different type of background effects. We also have the ability to design the photos to include corporate branding, add creative writing and other photo backgrounds such as your engagement photo and more.

Our photo booths are professionally designed and were sponsored for the NBA China games, Coke-a-Cola events, and more.

Our booths are equiped with an SLR camera inside or an HD 720/10 mega-pixel video camera with a 21″ touch screen.

Q: Do you actually bring these photo booths to events? A: Yes, we physically bring the booth to your event, install, and set it up for free.

Q: How many photo booths do you have? A: We own four photo booths. These are our unique booths that all have the same software and ability to shoot photo & video.

Q: Does the photo booth print out photos on the spot like the ones at the mall? A: Yes, but with much higher quality, speed, and style! The photos can even be personalized for your event. The photos print out fast in about 7-15 seconds on average.

Q: How do we upload photos to Facebook, email, and Twitter? A: If you choose this option in your selected package, then we would need a reliable internet connection to our photo booth. If the event/venue doesn’t have an internet connection then we provide a wireless USB stick for internet (additional fees apply). Uploading to facebook, email and twitter is an additional $200.

Q: Do people have to pay for the photo booth? A: No. It’s a flat-fee rental so the photo booth is free to use at the event.

Q: Is there a limit to how many photos can be taken during an event? A: No, it’s unlimited for the rental duration.

Q: How does the photo booth work? A: Very simple. The guests simply go in the booth, touch the screen, and press start when ready. The screen will take multiple photos and at the end of the photos it presents you with an option to shoot a video (if you select the video package). After this, you can choose to print the photo in Black & White or Color. Then you have a choice to print the photo or upload them to Facebook, Twitter, email or Bluetooth them to a mobile device. All booths have different options please contact us for more information.

Q: Will the photos fade or discolor afterwards like mall photo booths or some instant photo novelties? A: No. The photos are always sharp and will not fade or discolour. They’ll last a lifetime. They’re also totally dry when they print so there’s no wet ink or chemicals or odour at your event. They’re even water resistant and won’t show a fingerprint.
